This year 6 March 2025, Dantewada, which is located in Chhattisgarh, India, has announced digitization of more than 700,000 terrestrial documents from the 50th century, now secured on the Blockchain avalanche. The aim of this initiative is to ensure transparency and integrity of land records and prevent any change or counterfeiting.
India provides land registers with avalanche blockchain
In the innovative initiative, the Dantewada Blockchain district accepted technology to modernize its land registers. The aim is to ensure data, reduce fraud and improve transparency in an area that often occurs with disputes and irregularities. As Mayank Chaturvedi, administrative service officer: emphasizes:
For decades, our citizens have encountered a significant delay in accessing their land documents and controls that could take weeks. By scanning these documents and by securing on blockchain, we have guaranteed that they are easily accessible and cannot be falsified.
The project is based on an application based on blockchain, allowing responsible agents to look for land characteristics and download or consult scanned documents. And to facilitate access to this information, the kiosky was installed in each sub -statement, which allows citizens and civil servants to access land data.
In order to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information, previous permits are needed to consult with these documents. This initiative eliminates the need for manual research from ground documents, which allows for tribal communities and farmers in the region to provide their property securities and reduce disputes.
Modernization of public services
The choice of avalanche is not trivial. This blockchain is known for its ability to quickly treat a large volume of transactions, which is necessary for district, such as Dantewada, where almost 700,000 properties must be administered. In addition, it offers a decentralized infrastructure, reducing dependence on a centralized system often subject to corruption or disorders.
The integration of blockchain technology into land administration shows the Dantewada district the desire to accept advanced technological solutions to improve administrative efficiency and strengthen citizens’ confidence in the public institution. This initiative is part of a wider trend in India, where the government examines emerging technologies for the modernization of its public services.
